Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Plating Production & Process Engineer to lead electroplating process development, production support and continuous improvement for new and existing products. You will oversee plating manufacturing activities to meet production targets, maintain product quality and control costs while steering continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/engineering field.
• At least two years of reel-to-reel electroplating experience.
• Knowledge of electroplating technologies and manufacturing processes.
• PFMEA knowledge and chemical safety awareness.
• Hands-on ability to develop and optimize processes and equipment.
• Experience with MFG/PRO or similar ERP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead plating technicians and operators to meet daily schedules and quality standards.
• Develop and optimize electroplating processes to improve productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot plating process, chemical, equipment and quality issues.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives through process optimisation and waste reduction.
• Plan preventive maintenance for plating equipment and production lines.
• Support Lean PACE initiatives and new product introductions.
• Prepare samples, FA reports and mill-cost analyses.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain production data.
• Manage spare parts procurement and monitor line utilisation.
• Train employees in chemical handling and process controls.
