Job summary

Molex Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Inspector (Assembly) to ensure product quality through in-process and final inspections of assemblies, components and materials. You will verify workmanship, dimensional and functional features and support QC activities that keep production running smoothly.

You will use tools such as OGP/View, vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges, document results, raise ITRs for non-conformities and contribute to MRB and 5S improvements.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent.
• SPC training and/or Operators’ Certification Programs.
• 3 years of related experience in the electronics industry.
• Knowledge of parts inspection.
• Ability to use measurement equipment such as OGP and TM scope.
• QA Inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform IPQC and final inspections according to plans and work instructions.
• Inspect workmanship, cosmetic, dimensional, and functional characteristics.
• Verify correct usage of materials, components, labels, and packaging.
• Operate measuring tools (OGP/View, vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, go/no-go).
• Follow calibration procedures for inspection equipment.
• Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming products; raise ITRs.
• Record results in checklists and EQC systems for audit traceability.
• Support MRB activities with inspection data.
• Provide feedback on recurring defects and assist containment and re-inspection.
• Support quality and 5S/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
