Job summary

NivaBiz Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Electronics Hardware R&D Engineer with strong experience in electronic circuit and PCB/PCBA design.

The role covers full hardware product development from circuit design through prototype bring-up and validation. You will design analog and digital circuits, develop embedded hardware, and work with USB, Ethernet, and other interfaces. Collaboration with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Strong hands-on electronics hardware development experience.
• Proven PCB/PCBA based product design experience.
• Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits and embedded hardware.
• Experience with PCB design/schematic tools such as Altium, OrCAD or Cadence.
• Experience in EMC/EMI and product safety testing is advantageous.
• Experience with medical/life-science products or ISO 13485 is an advantage.
• PSpice/Python or similar simulation/programming experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital electronic circuits and PCB/PCBA hardware.
• Develop embedded hardware using microprocessors / microcontrollers.
• Perform schematic design, component selection and support PCB layout.
• Hands-on board bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting and design validation.
• Design/integrate power management, DC-DC / AC-DC and signal-conditioning circuits.
• Work with interfaces such as USB, Ethernet/LAN, Bluetooth and other I/O protocols.
• Support high-speed hardware design and signal-integrity considerations.
• Conduct prototype testing, EMC/safety verification and resolve hardware issues.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams, suppliers and customers from prototype through production.

The successful candidate will be involved in complete hardware product development from circuit design and schematic capture through PCB/PCBA development, prototype bring-up, testing, debugging and product validation.

• Perform schematic design, component selection and support PCB layout.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits, embedded hardware and electronics fundamentals.
• Experience with PCB design/schematic tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Cadence or similar.
• Experience in EMC/EMI, product safety and environmental testing is advantageous.
• Experience with medical/life-science products or ISO 13485 is an advantage.
• PSpice/Python or similar simulation/programming experience is advantageous.

Important:

This position is primarily a hardware design and development role. Candidates whose experience is mainly software/firmware, academic research, BMS/building automation or testing without hands-on electronic hardware design experience may not be suitable.
