Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to analyze technical problems, update PLM documentation, and implement electrical solutions for customer requests. You will work with mechanical and software teams to meet project objectives while upholding safety and international standards.

The role requires a BSc in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years in automation/equipment industries, with experience in UL/CE/RoHS EMI/EMC and relevant testing tools.

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3-5 years in automation/equipment industries.
• Design for UL/CE/RoHS/EMI/EMC conformity.
• Familiar with debugging/testing equipment (oscilloscope, generators, analyzers).
• Experience with Eplan (P8) and PLM software is a plus.

• Analyzes technical problems and takes the appropriate actions
• Processing of component discontinuation (second source)
• Updates the necessary documentation in the PLM system (BOM, drawings, manuals, service instructions)
• Implement solutions to fulfill Customer Specific Requests (electrical)
• Investigate and implement engineering change requests
• Work closely with other disciplines (mechanical/software) to meet project objectives
• Mind safety and international machine product standards
• Provide engineering support to the Product lines
• Supports the global based production sites in electrical matters

Requirements

Education

• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering

Work experience

• Minimum 3-5 years or equivalent of relevant experience in automation / equipment industries
• Experienced in design to conformity with standards such as UL, CE, RoHS, EMI and EMC
• Familiar with debugging / testing equipment and tools such as Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Spectrum Analyzer or Network Analyzer

Expertise and methodology

• Knowledge in analogue and digital circuit
• Application know-how in sensors and motors technologies
• Good know-how in cabling technologies
• Awareness on EMI and EMC issues
• Experience with Eplan (P8) is a pre
• Experience with PLM software is a pre
