Job summary

Legrand is seeking an Assembler in Singapore to manufacture and assemble mechanical and basic electrical configurations used in electrical distribution systems. You will read shop drawings and BOMs, make electrical connections, and assemble parts with hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

The role requires attention to tolerances, use of measurement tools, and adherence to SECRIT values. Cross-training across departments is available.

Qualifications

O Level/A Level/ITE or High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read shop drawings and wiring diagrams preferred.
Ability to read standard tape measure.

Responsibilities

Read shop drawings and wiring diagrams.
Read Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine parts and assembly sequences.
Make electrical connections according to specifications.
Assemble parts, position, align, and fasten assemblies using hand and power tools.
Modify parts by drilling, tapping, countersinking, etc. with machine tools, power and pneumatic hand tools.
Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
Measure parts to determine tolerances using tape measures and micrometers/calipers.
Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts.
Cross training to work in other departments as needed.
Adhere to company policies, SECRIT values.
