Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in electrochemistry/electrocatalysis with research in electrocatalytic transformations, electrosynthesis, hydrogen/oxygen electrocatalysis, fuel cells, or related reactions.
• Hands-on experience in catalyst/materials synthesis, electrochemical testing, reaction optimization, quant. product analysis, and/or mechanistic investigation.
• Experience in reaction pathway analysis, electrocatalytic kinetics, and structure-activity/selectivity relationships; reactor engineering/scale-up or techno-economic analysis would be an advantage.
• Strong research record with peer-reviewed publications and ability to work independently; good teamwork, mentoring, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, synthesize, and characterize electrocatalysts and electrode systems for selective electrochemical transformations.
• Conduct electrochemical measurements and optimize reactions for activity, selectivity, Faradaic efficiency, stability, and kinetics.
• Investigate reaction pathways and interfacial mechanisms using electrochemical analysis and materials characterization.
• Develop and optimize electrochemical reactors and scale-up strategies, including high-current-density operation and techno-economic feasibility.
• Analyze data, maintain records, prepare manuscripts/patents, mentor junior researchers, collaborate across projects, and support lab safety.
