Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler to build, repair and test assemblies using schematics and wiring diagrams. The role involves troubleshooting, data entry, and adhering to strict safety standards in a 12-hour shift environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Nitec/ Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and may include relevant internship experience. Fixed shifts with day and night allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience would be advantageous.
• Relevant internship / academic background would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using work orders and diagrams.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identify and correct errors.
• Observe safety standards and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Attend required health and safety training and follow policies.
• Enter data on computer for progress, expenses and labour details.
• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes.
