Job summary

DIRECTION OVERSEAS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Technician to install wiring, equipment and systems to meet site requirements and ensure reliable operation.

The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, reading electrical drawings and coordinating with other workers to complete projects safely and on schedule. Candidates must have at least an O level or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Possess at least Primary/Secondary/'O' Level, Higher Secondary/College, Professional Certificate, or Nitec in any field.
• Have at least 1 year of working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, equipment, and systems to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain electrical systems through routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components and fixtures to restore functionality.
• Perform electrical testing and fault diagnosis to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide installation and repairs.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with electrical installation, upgrading, and renovation projects to support site improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for compliance and tracking.
• Coordinate with other workers and contractors on site to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area to prevent hazards.

Education
