Job summary

A2 Global Electronics + Solutions in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Component Engineer to develop performance verification methods for complex test equipment and systems. You will analyze measurement and error sources while driving process improvements and test automation.

You will mentor colleagues, interpret results, and coordinate with Sales, Quality & Operations to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with semiconductor/electronics background.
• Experience with functional/bench testing using standard test equipment and components.
• Ability to develop testing procedures for electronic, electro-mechanical, and passive parts.
• Familiarity with National Instruments PXI and LabVIEW preferred.
• Experience in failure analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests and modify setups or procedures as needed.
• Operate a range of electrical testing equipment and record data.
• Interpret results and recommend improvements based on findings.
• Oversee electrical test analysis on components and assemblies.
• Develop testing processes to scale and improve value.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Quality & Operations on RFQs and specs.
• Provide applications support and participate in audits and exchanges.
• Mentor teammates to enhance technical knowledge.
