Job summary

Shopee is looking for a maintenance technician to oversee robotic warehouse zones, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support 24/7 operations in Singapore. You will troubleshoot belts, conveyors, and automation components, follow LOTO procedures, and assist with on-site electrical and mechanical upkeep.

The role requires experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, rotating shifts, and a Class 3 license, with preference for familiarity with warehouse automation systems and

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical/electronic maintenance experience.
• Experience with belt, conveyor, and pulley systems preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (day/night) to support 24/7 operations.
• Possesses a Class 3 License.
• Familiarity with warehouse automation electronics and mechanical components is a plus.

• Inspect, clear and monitor robot zones for any potential issues such as debris, fallen totes, or package
• Familiar with computer upkeep and maintenance
• Familiar with how to implement Lock out tag out procedure
• Support day-to-day issues to ensure smooth operations
• Attend to breakdown & maintenance complaints promptly
• Carry out scheduled maintenance works according to checklist at designated areas / sites
• Perform repair & diagnose faults
• Repair, clean, inspect, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machine where required
• Any other tasks as required by engineer or technician lead

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
• Min 2 years of relevant working experience in electronic maintenance and repair work on belt, conveyor and pulley systems
• Required to work on rotating shift (day/night) to support 24/7 operations
• Possesses a Class 3 License
• Preferably familiar with warehouse automation electronics (PLC / module, HMI, SCADA, UPS, camera systems and QR codes, Wifi Access point) and mechanical components of automation such as robot picking mechanism, and warehouse maintenance (e.g. breaker system, electrical cabling, structured cabling)
• Ideally should have working at heights license, familiar with basket type scissor lift operation and maintenance
