Job summary

Gateway Construction & Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled electrical installer to perform wiring, cabling, and installation of electrical equipment according to drawings and project specifications.

The role covers testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, plus maintenance of distribution boards, panels, and other equipment, while ensuring earthing and safety standards. Collaboration with site teams and adherence to schedule are essential.

Responsibilities

Install electrical wiring, cables, conduits, cable trays, switches, sockets, lighting, and electrical equipment.
Carry out electrical installation work according to drawings and project specifications.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems.
Assist in installation and maintenance of distribution boards, panels, generators, and other electrical equipment.
Identify electrical faults and take corrective action.
Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety measures.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction teams.
Maintain tools, equipment, and required work records.
Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable electrical standards.
Ensure work is completed within the required schedule and quality standards.
