Job summary

PLSK TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled electrical technician to maintain and repair building electrical systems across facilities.

The role focuses on routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and responsive troubleshooting to ensure continuous electrical service. You will work on lighting, outlets, switches, distribution boards and panels; replace faulty components; attend emergency breakdowns; and document maintenance activities while coordinating with other maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building electrical systems.
• Maintain lighting, power outlets, switches, distribution boards, and electrical panels.
• Replace faulty lamps, switches, sockets, breakers, cables, and other electrical components.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults, short circuits, power failures, and tripping issues.
• Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and restore services safely.
• Use appropriate electrical testing equipment to diagnose faults.
• Conduct scheduled inspections of electrical installations and equipment.
• Check cables, connections, circuit breakers, earthing systems, and electrical panels.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and report defects requiring further attention.
• Maintain electrical systems supporting air-conditioning, ventilation, pumps, lifts, fire alarm systems, and other building services as applicable.
• Assist other maintenance teams with electrical requirements.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Isolate and lock out electrical supplies before carrying out maintenance work where required.
• Ensure proper earthing and protection of electrical equipment.
• Use appropriate PPE and electrical tools.

Job description
