Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced on-site supervisor for electrical and M&E coordination to ensure quality and timely project delivery. The role requires hands-on supervision of subcontractors, adherence to drawings, and strong coordination with project teams on-site.

You will read schematics, manage commissioning/testing activities, and ensure compliance with PQP and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate/NiTEC required.
• At least 3 years of related work experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience supervising M&E subcontractors and coordinating on-site.
• Knowledge of CONQUAS or QM quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess work by subcontractor.
• Read and interpret design schematics and SLD for proper installation.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and to code.
• Coordinate with project engineer, main contractor coordinator, and on-site supervisor.
• Report to project engineer and manager.
• Oversee installation, inspection, commissioning and testing per project scope.
• Check equipment calibration status before use.
• Control and monitor work performance of workers/subcontractors.
• Review vendor submittals for installation requirements.
• Oversee receiving and issuance of materials at site store.
• Attend site meetings with project teams and contractors.
• Ensure daily site works align with method statements, risk assessments, drawings and PQP.
• Supervise M&E subcontract works and ensure progress per schedule.
• Prepare and arrange M&E installation per drawings/materials.
• Site supervision on M&E works and arrange inspection with RTO.
• Ensure quality to meet CONQUAS/QM requirements.
• Coordinate M&E works on-site with other trades.

FOR SINGAPOREAN ONLY. Responsibilities:

• Inspecting and assessing the work done by the sub con.
• Read and interpret design schematics & SLD to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
• Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.
• To coordinate with project engineer & main con coordinator, supervisor on-site work.
• Report directly to project engineer & manager.
• Oversee the job and resolve technical issues related to the installation, inspection, commissioning and testing in accordance with project scope / plan / schedule
• Check equipment / tools calibration status before using
• Able to control and monitor the work performance of workers / subcontractors
• Review and checking of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements
• Oversee the receiving and issue of materials at the site store if require
• When nonconformity is detected, segregate the materials and determine the disposition of the nonconformity with the party concern
• Attend regular site meetings with project team, contractors and sub-contractors on project related matters
• Ensure all daily site works and site personnel are performing task strictly in line with the method statement, risk assessment, electrical drawings and Project Quality Plan
• To supervise M&E subcon works and ensure subcontractors progress in accordance to schedule set
• To prepare and arrange M&E installation in accordance with approved drawings and materials
• To carry out site supervision on M&E works and arrange inspection with RTO
• To ensure quality work in order to achieve CONQUAS and/ or QM requirements
• To coordinates M&E works on-site with other trades

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
