Job summary

Systems Maintenance Services Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support our electrical maintenance, servicing and project operations. You will handle commercial coordination, including preparing quotations for customers, and supervise workers at project sites to ensure quality and timelines.

This role suits someone with practical electrical or M&E experience who can communicate directly with customers, manage quotations and lead site teams independently across Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering, electrical maintenance, M&E contracting, facilities maintenance or related project coordination roles in Singapore.
• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Good practical knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting works.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, SLDs and basic technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing quotations, costing and estimating manpower/material requirements.
• Experience in site supervision and managing electricians, technicians or construction workers.
• Able to communicate confidently with customers and handle site matters independently.

Responsibilities

• Attend site surveys and understand customers' electrical maintenance, repair and project requirements.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates and proposals based on site conditions, labour requirements, materials and equipment required.
• Follow up with customers on quotations, project scope, schedules and variation works.
• Liaise directly with customers, building management, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers where necessary.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for each project.
• Supervise electricians, technicians and workers at site and allocate daily work activities.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule, scope and customer requirements.
• Ensure workmanship and completed works meet the company's quality standards.
• Coordinate emergency repair, maintenance and electrical servicing works when required.
• Identify site problems and coordinate with the Project Manager, LEW, customers and workers to resolve technical or operational issues.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including work orders, service reports, progress reports, inspection records and completion documents.
• Prepare and ensure relevant site safety documentation such as RA, SWP and permit requirements are in place before commencement of work.
• Ensure workers comply with site safety requirements and customers' safety procedures.
• Coordinate testing, inspection, rectification and project handover.
• Assist in monitoring project costs, material usage, manpower utilisation and project profitability.
• Support preventive maintenance contracts, breakdown servicing, electrical upgrading and other electrical engineering projects undertaken by the company.
