Job summary

wesmech engineering pte ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support management and execution of electrical construction projects. The role covers project coordination, technical management, site supervision, and ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with project requirements.

You will liaise with clients and subcontractors, review drawings, monitor progress, and help prepare documentation.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical construction, M&E, or building services projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices and applicable regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office; strong communication and coordination skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in managing electrical installation and construction works.
Monitor progress, schedules and milestones; coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
Supervise site activities; ensure compliance with drawings, method statements and quality standards; WS H compliance.
Prepare project records, RFIs, shop drawings and progress reports; track variations and changes.
