Job summary

ADVANCED CUISINE MANUFACTURING PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Production Operator in Singapore.

You will perform assembly, processing, and packaging of electrical appliance products according to daily schedules, strictly follow Work Instructions and operate production tools with proficiency. Flexibility to rotate among departments, maintain quality, and report issues promptly is essential. The role offers overtime pay and a 5-day work week at Jalan Tukang.

Qualifications

• Careful, responsible and disciplined to follow safety and production protocols.
• Ability to follow management instructions and perform repetitive tasks consistently.
• Must meet physical requirements including color distinction where necessary.
• Prior experience is advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, processing and packaging of electrical appliance products per daily schedules.
• Strictly follow Work Instructions and operate production tools and equipment.
• Rotate workstations or assist in different departments to maintain workflow continuity.
• Adhere to first article sample validated by Quality Inspector throughout production.
• Self-inspect output and check incoming parts for quality before processing.
• Handle products with care to avoid damage and report defects promptly.
• Use packaging materials judiciously to minimize waste and costs.
• Keep packaging materials, work-in-progress and finished goods organized per layout.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of tools, equipment and work area.
• Inspect and maintain production tools and machines daily; protect company property.
• Participate in training sessions and provide suggestions to improve efficiency or quality.
• Comply with supervisor directions and complete tasks on time.
• Perform any other duties to meet company objectives.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform diverse production tasks, including assembly, processing, and packaging of electrical appliance products according to daily production schedules.
• Follow Work Instructions (WI) strictly and operate production tools and equipment proficiently.
• Maintain a high level of adaptability; be ready to rotate workstations or assist in different departments as assigned by the supervisor to ensure workflow continuity.
• Adhere strictly to the approved first article sample validated by the Quality Inspector throughout the production process.
• Perform self-inspection on your own output and check the quality of incoming parts from the previous operation before processing.
• Handle all products with care to prevent stains, scratches, or dents. Immediately report abnormalities and rework defective products promptly to ensure no defects enter the finished goods area.
• Use packaging materials and consumables reasonably to prevent waste, save energy, and assist in controlling production costs.
• Keep all packaging materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products neatly organized according to the required layout.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment, tools, and materials in the work area at all times.
• Check, maintain, and take care of production tools and machines daily; protect company property from intentional damage or misuse.
• Actively participate in training sessions and proactively provide suggestions to improve efficiency or quality.
• Comply with all supervisor's directions and complete assigned tasks on time.
• Perform any other duties or general support tasks assigned from time to time to meet company objectives.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrates carefulness, responsibility, and discipline, with the ability to adhere to safety and production protocols.
• Ability to follow instructions from management and capable of performing repetitive tasks consistently over extended periods.
• Meet physical requirements which are essential to perform the duties of the role, including the ability to distinguish colours where necessary.
• Prior relevant experience will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) to liaise with Chinese-speaking supervisors, and to read and understand machine operations manuals and work instructions provided in Chinese.
