Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Service Technician - Electrical / Mechanical in Singapore. You will install, commission, decommission, and maintain critical equipment including generators, transformers, load banks, and temperature control gear.

You’ll troubleshoot failures and support repair work from schematics and manuals. Great English communication is required, with 2-3 years of related experience and relevant NITEC or Diploma qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have good command in English.
• 2-3 years’ hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, decommissioning, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment.
• Educational qualifications as specified (NITEC/Degree) in electrical/electromechanical fields.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical installation tasks from drawings or schematics with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot machinery failures and perform remedial actions per manuals and schematics.
• Strip down, report condition, advise on spare parts and rebuild to a high standard.
• Assemble and operate equipment including generators, transformers, load banks, and temperature control gear.
• Be prepared to travel for on/offshore jobs on short notice and respond to emergency breakdowns after hours.
• Use analog/digital measurement tools to monitor electrical and mechanical parameters.
