Job summary

AEM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize electrical assembly processes in Singapore.

You will focus on cycle time reduction, production efficiency, and robust electrical integration across wiring, installation, and panel assembly. The role requires hands-on experience in electrical manufacturing, with strong skills in SolidWorks Electrical and documentation management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical manufacturing, equipment assembly, electrical engineering, or production engineering.
• Hands-on experience in electrical assembly, control panel wiring, cable routing, electrical installation, and system integration.
• Strong proficiency in electrical design software particularly SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing focused on electrical assembly process optimization, cycle time reduction, and production efficiency improvement.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement electrical manufacturing process improvements to streamline wiring, cable routing and electrical installation integration activities.
• Provide technical support for electrical assembly, wiring installation, control panel integration, and electrical system troubleshooting during production builds.
• Review and maintain electrical engineering documentation, including electrical schematics, Bills of Materials (BOM), and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate closely with production and cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical assembly issues.
• Work closely with NPI and Electrical Design Engineering teams to identify potential electrical integration risks, improve manufacturability.
• Support Engineering Change Request (ECR), Engineering Change Notice (ECN), and Engineering Amendment Notice (EAN) activities.
