Job summary

C & W Electronics Pte Ltd is looking for an Electrical Engineer to provide on-site installation and support for Electromechanical and Electrical wiring systems. You will manage project progress, co-ordinate cross-functional activities, and drive new product development.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with opportunities for more senior roles for those with extensive experience in similar industries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Extensive experience may lead to Senior Engineer position.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate on-site installation and support for wiring systems.
• Manage project progress and adjustments to resource requirements.
• Drive new product development from prototyping to production.
• Oversee project documentation and approvals.
• Analyze and handle quality issues with QA/QC.

About the Company

Based in Singapore, C & W Electronics specialises in the design, manufacturing and integration of wiring harnesses, supporting consumer electronics, OA/FA equipment and scientific instruments with a component inventory of over 150,000.

Job Description

• Co-ordinate with a team of technicians to provide on-site installation and support to customers for Electromechanical and Electrical wiring systems.
• Co-ordinate cross functional efforts and attend technical meetings with customers to meet customer design requirements.
• Manage and report project progress and continually assess & adjust resource requirements to meet customer timelines.
• Drive new product development from initial prototyping to mass production.
• Sourcing new components and equipment to support new products & responsible for cost evaluations of new product and tooling.
• Co-ordinate/oversee progress of product development cross‑functional activities.
• Responsible for project FAI and project documentation (such as Customer‑approvals, Drawings, Specifications, Production SOP, Work‑Instructions etc.)
• Work with QA/QC to analyze and handle any quality issue.
• Any other duties/projects assigned from time to time.

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• More extensive experience will be considered for Senior Engineer positions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or electrical engineering industries
• Knowledge or experience in electrical power distribution panel design, electrical panel design, or motor systems
