Job summary

Swift Search Global Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Lead) for the LTA Depot Project in Singapore. You will lead electrical engineering activities, review drawings, prepare tenders, and guide the team to meet project goals.

He/she will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers, manage tender cost estimates and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Strong communication and planning skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in electrical engineering within construction/M&E.
• Experience in design, coordination and tender cost estimation.
• Familiar with electrical drawings, specs and standards.
• Understanding tender processes and supplier quotations.
• Experience supervising electrical teams.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical engineering activities, including design reviews and tender preparation.
• Review drawings, specifications to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Prepare and evaluate cost estimates, tender pricing and technical proposals for upcoming projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency and achieve cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers and project teams on technical and commercial matters.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, material costs and project requirements to support competitive tender submissions.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering support to ongoing construction projects.
• Monitor market developments, construction industry trends and supplier pricing to support tender planning.
• Manage and guide electrical engineers and other technical personnel to ensure work quality and timely completion.
• Coordinate with internal departments and management on project planning, technical issues and business opportunities.
• Support the preparation of engineering documentation, tender submissions and related project reports.

• Experience managing or supervising electrical engineering teams.

• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.

• Strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication, planning and organisational skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple engineering priorities.

• Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
