Job summary

Binnies in Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical and ICA design for water/wastewater and power facilities.

You will plan, design, review drawings, perform calculations, and coordinate with authorities; lead a team and present design basis to clients. Applicants bring over 10 years of experience, familiarity with local codes, and PE/LEW advantages.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of Water/Wastewater, Power Plant / Waste Management Facility’s electrical and automated control system design of large-scale power generation plant/WMF plant projects.
• Shall have relevant experience in the planning and design of large-scale waste management or water treatment facilities
• Experienced in extra high voltage to low voltage electrical distribution network designs, not limited to switchgears, transformers, motor control centres, distribution boards, control panels, emergency standby and black start power, neutral-ground reactors/resistors, cable and cable raceways, protection devices, meters, etc.
• Experienced in Power plant/WMF balance of plant electrical network design.
• Familiar with Singapore’s local codes of practice and regulatory requirements in extra high voltage/high voltage grid connection for electricity export.
• Professional Engineer licensed with the PE Board Singapore and a Licensed Electrical Worker of at least grade 9 is an advantage.
