Job summary

Sembcorp is hiring a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) based at Jurong Island, Singapore. The role focuses on planning and executing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across MV/LV systems, motors, switchgear and HV equipment in a petrochemical/industrial setting.

You will lead outage planning, supervise contractors, apply PTW as CP, and drive reliability improvements while ensuring compliance with safety and OEM standards. 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with high/medium voltage equipment and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and root cause analysis skills.”

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute scheduled PM & CM maintenance within cost and schedule.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical equipment (MV/LV switchgear, motors, transformers, VFDs, UPS, HVAC, cranes).
• Coordinate outages, supervise contractors, and manage PTW as CP.
