Job summary

COF Engineering in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems at East Coast Bus Depot. You will diagnose faults, repair components, and ensure safety compliance while keeping detailed maintenance records.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize schedules and identify efficiency improvements, while responding swiftly to breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and use of instrumentations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to maintenance tasks.
• No mandatory experience required; entry level welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and systems to minimise downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
• Repair, replace, and upgrade electrical components, wiring, motors, transformers, and control systems.
• Conduct safety inspections and tests to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all work completed.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore operational capability.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and engineering staff to coordinate work schedules.
• Advise on electrical safety protocols and best practices across the organization.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings in electrical systems and maintenance processes.

Monday - Saturday, 7am - 3:30pm or 3pm - 11pm

What you'll be doing

• Performing routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and systems to minimise downtime and extend asset lifespan

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and failures using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools

• Repairing, replacing, and upgrading electrical components, wiring, motors, transformers, and control systems

• Conducting safety inspections and tests on electrical installations to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation for all work completed

• Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns and providing solutions to restore operational capability

• Collaborating with other maintenance team members and engineering staff to coordinate work schedules and share technical knowledge

• Advising on electrical safety protocols and best practices across the organization

• Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings in electrical systems and maintenance processes

What we're looking for
