Job summary

TRIAUT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Electrical & Automation Technician to diagnose and repair faults on machines and production lines, minimising downtime.

You will run root cause analyses, perform planned maintenance on electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems, and coordinate with contractors to uphold safety and quality standards. You will also diagnose PLC programs and HMI screens, commission drives, perform motor tests, and maintain CMMS

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair electrical and control faults on machines and production lines.
• Run root cause analysis on recurring failures and recommend permanent fixes.
• Carry out planned maintenance on electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, or similar) and HMI screens, and make minor program changes under change control.
• Commission, configure, and troubleshoot AC and servo drives.
• Perform motor testing, alignment checks, insulation resistance tests, and bearing and load monitoring.
• Install, calibrate, and fault-find proximity, photoelectric, inductive, capacitive, and encoder sensors.
• Support machine vision systems, including lighting, camera settings, and vision tool adjustment.
• Maintain pneumatic circuits, valves, cylinders, and FRL units.
• Maintain hydraulic power packs, pressure circuits, and seals, and locate leaks and pressure faults.
• Manage electrical and automation suppliers on quotations, lead times, and service calls.
• Maintain critical spares inventory, recommend stock levels, and track usage.
• Coordinate external contractors and make sure their work meets safety and quality standards.
• Plan and prioritise work orders, track backlog, and report KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and PM compliance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, the WSH Act, SS 638, and LOTO procedures.
