Job summary

DLM Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer (Electrical) to ensure the safe operation, maintenance and servicing of electrical systems across client sites.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults, conduct testing and commissioning, and provide timely service updates to clients.

The role requires a Diploma or NITEC in Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Diploma or NITEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, including LV/HV power distribution, switchboards, panels, cabling, lighting, and ELV systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and system reliability.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical equipment and installations.
• Respond promptly to service calls and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Perform site inspections to identify potential faults or hazards in electrical installations.
• Record service activities, faults, and rectifications accurately in service reports.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or system upgrades where necessary.
• Escalate critical or recurring issues to the Service Manager for resolution.
• Liaise with clients to provide updates on service works, system condition, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients to support long-term trust and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection logs, and compliance reports.
• Ensure proper documentation of all service activities in line with company and regulatory standards.
• Support audits and compliance checks by providing relevant service data and reports.
• Provide feedback to management on recurring electrical issues and suggest preventive measures.
• Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies, standards, and servicing practices.
• Support company initiatives to improve service efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
