Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

You will design systems, ensure compliance, collaborate with project teams, and deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining documentation and traceability.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least two years of hands-on experience, with knowledge of local codes and submission procedures.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on electrical design experience.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and authority submission procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD software to meet requirements for building, industrial and infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical specifications that comply with industry standards and regulations
• Evaluate and select materials, equipment, and technologies to optimize system performance
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve project goals
• Monitor and control project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to validate system functionality
• Ensure electrical systems comply with safety, quality, local, and international codes
• Perform root cause analysis on system failures and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, manuals, and documentation for stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and test results for project traceability
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
• Ensure all electrical systems adhere to environmental and safety regulations
