Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. invites applications for a Marine Electrical role in Jurong.

The candidate will design, develop, and implement electrical systems, perform testing and maintenance, and prepare CAD drawings to meet project requirements. The position requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, solid knowledge of power distribution and control systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD/EPLAN/MATLAB. Singaporean citizens only; 5-day work week with transport from MRT and company transport

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Solid knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and control systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, EPLAN, MATLAB or equivalent.
• Singaporean Only.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, components, and equipment according to project requirements.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure performance and safety compliance.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide engineering input.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve electrical-related issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to evaluate components, materials, and systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical support and training as required.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
