Evonik Methionine SEA Pte. Ltd.

on Jurong Island is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee safety and availability of electrical systems, installation and power network design, and to lead maintenance, testing and commissioning across 66kV and related plant infrastructure. You will design, program and modify control logic, support E&I projects, provide technical training, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Process Controls or equivalent.
2–5 years of electrical engineering experience in chemical or petrochemical industries is preferred.
Willingness to work on Jurong Island and rely on company transport.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety and availability of Electrical Systems, Installation and Power Network Design up to 66kV.
Provide technical assistance and training for electrical safety and maintenance teams.
Plan, estimate, design, construct and startup E&I projects.
Serve as focal point for electrical issues and advocate best practices.
Occasionally cover on-call E&I duties on a scheduled basis.
