Job summary

THE INCEPTION RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Electrical Engineer to support project execution from design to commissioning, with a focus on industrial electrical installations.

You will prepare drawings, manage schedules, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with standards and safety. Entry-level candidates and mechanical engineers are welcome.

Salary will be commensurate with experience; East area preference noted.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 years of working experience in electrical installation in industrial plants.
• Technical knowledge of HT/LT switchboards, transformers and motor starters.
• Familiar with Singapore and international standards.
• East area candidates preferred.
• Entry level candidates welcome; mechanical engineering graduates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, check and submit drawings, catalogues and calculations.
• Assist Project Manager/Sr. Engineer for vendor approval submissions.
• Prepare and update project schedules.
• Work out bill of materials and engineering deliverables.
• Attend progress/technical meetings.
• Ensure execution aligns with specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of works.
• Monitor quality and document progress; write reports.
