Job summary

BeeX seeks a dedicated Electrical Engineer in Singapore to design, develop and test electrical systems powering autonomous underwater vehicles. You will report to the Electrical Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across sea trials and office settings.

Responsibilities include PCB design, firmware development, power systems, wiring, sensors testing and documentation of results. The role suits hands-on engineers eager to contribute in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Experience with battery-powered power systems, circuit design, embedded systems.
• Familiar with microcontrollers and sensor/actuator interfacing.
• Proficient in Altium Designer or equivalent PCB CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle design, system assembly and component testing.
• Manage electrical system production in a robotic vehicle and prototype circuits.
• Test sensors and circuit boards designed by BeeX Engineering.
• Document performance and test outcomes.
• Support customer-facing product trials.
• Keep logs of learnt resources and self-acquired knowledge.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Permanent Role)

Start Date: Immediately

Your Role

As the Electrical Intern, you will work on the design, production and testing of the electrical systems powering BeeX's flagship Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, and our upcoming vehicle design projects. You will report directly to the Electrical Lead. Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with a multi-disciplinary team, and you need to be equally comfortable working at sea trials and in office.

Job Scope

• Assist Engineering Team to carry out vehicle design, system assembly and component testing, inclusive of but not limited to PCB design and testing, firmware development, power systems, and wire harnessing design
• Manage electrical system production in a robotic vehicle and prototype electrical circuits
• Test sensors and circuit boards designed by BeeX Engineering team
• Document performance and test outcomes
• Support customer-facing product trials
• Keeping a log of things learnt, resources provided and self-acquired
