Job summary

Internsg in Singapore is seeking a field service technician specializing in UPS installation, monitoring, and maintenance. You will conduct site inspections, install and wire UPS units, and configure and commission power systems. This role includes continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance, and on-site support within SLA.

The candidate should have hands-on electrical experience with power systems and a proactive approach to ensure uninterrupted reliability for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Site inspection and load requirement analysis.
• Delivery and installation of UPS units.
• Electrical cabling and integration with main power systems.
• Initial configuration, testing, and commissioning.
• 24/7 remote monitoring of UPS status and alarms.
• Real-time alerts for battery issues, temperature, and power anomalies.
• Data logging for performance analysis and reporting.
• Scheduled inspections (monthly/quarterly/annually).
• Battery health checks and testing.
• Dust cleaning, tightening connections, fan and inverter checks.
• Firmware updates as needed.
• On-site troubleshooting and repair within agreed SLA.
• Replacement of faulty parts or batteries.
• Emergency response support for power failures.
