Hydroleap is looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, commissioning, and maintenance of our advanced electrochemical water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering, control systems, power electronics, and industrial automation, with the ability to work in a dynamic startup environment.
Plan, design, review, and prepare electrical drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with authorities for consultation and submission requirements.
Resolve technical difficulties and other issues that may arise during the project.
Prepare General Arrangement (GA) and equipment layout drawings.
Prepare electrical equipment, drives, and cable specifications.
Prepare equipment technical schedules and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, and related drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare electrical wiring diagrams.
Carry out control panel wiring and related electrical works.
Perform electrical equipment and cable sizing,selection, and calculations.
Design lightning protection systems, small power systems, and lighting systems.
Provide engineering support during testing and commissioning.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical design experience, preferably in water and wastewater treatment projects.
Familiarity with local authority requirements and international electrical standards.
Good communicationand interpersonal skills.
Previousexperience in water or wastewater projects will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project timelines and budgets.
Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical drafting and preparation of engineering drawings.
