Job summary

C & W ELECTRONICS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and improve electrical instruments and control panels for industrial and commercial applications.

You will ensure compliance with safety standards, prepare specifications and drawings, and collaborate with customers and on-site teams to deliver projects on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven expertise with electrical schematic diagrams.
• Hands-on experience in electrical design and installation.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, implement, or improve electrical systems for various uses.
• Prepare system specifications, drawings, or maps to meet standards.
• Coordinate installation, testing, and compliance with codes.
• Wiring, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical panels.
• Plan work schedule and organize site facilities to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Electrical wiring, installation & commissioning & troubleshooting of electrical & control panels.
• Plan the work schedule and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet the project completion time.
• Define customer needs and requirements.
• Assist with equipment and process troubleshooting.
• Excellent in reading and understanding electrical schematic diagram.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven expertise as an electrical engineer.
• Experience for handling electrical schematic diagram.
• Hands-on experience for electrical design and installation.
• Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
