Job description

Our client is an estate management services company. They are looking for a Electrical & Electronics Engineer to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

Responsibilities for Electrical & Electronics Engineer:

Business Development & Tender Support

• Review technical specifications and electrical requirements outlined in tender documents.
• Assess electrical system designs for compliance with relevant local codes, standards, and regulations.
• Identify technical gaps, potential risks, and areas of non-compliance.
• Provide technical input and support during the tender preparation process.

Design & Project Support

• Review electrical shop drawings, schematics, and engineering calculations.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Review and approve electrical component and parts lists.

QA/QC & Reliability

• Monitor the reliability and performance of electrical components and systems.
• Conduct 20/80 fault analysis to identify key contributors to electrical failures.
• Analyze lift fault data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
• Lead root cause investigations for electrical-related failures, including control and door system faults.

Testing, Commissioning & Operations

• Support testing and commissioning (T&C) activities prior to lift operation.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving major electrical faults during testing and operation.
• Work closely with the LEW to support electrical commissioning, inspections, and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics/ Mechatronics), Project Management or equivalent.
• 3 year of working experience in lift industry
