Job summary

Careers @ Focal Search seeks an experienced technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and test electrical and electronic equipment. You will also assist with preventive maintenance, FAT, and commissioning, and document all activities.

You should have a diploma in a related field and 3–4 years of hands-on experience with electrical/electronic systems, plus proficiency with insulation testers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters. Reading schematics is essential.

Qualifications

• A diploma in mechatronics, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a similar engineering field is preferred.
• Three to four years of practical experience troubleshooting, servicing, or repairing electrical and electronic systems.
• New diploma holders with outstanding real-world experience might also be taken into consideration.
• Capable of using standard electrical and electronic testing tools, including insulation testers, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, electrical circuits, and fault diagnosis methods.
• Capable of reading wiring and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and electronic equipment diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and testing.
