Job summary

Fuji SMBE Technology Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a drafting professional to develop detailed electrical drawings and specifications for switchgear projects, collaborating with design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

You will create Single-Line Layouts, Schematics and Control drawings, translate requirements from the Designer Department, coordinate with engineering colleagues, and maintain document control through revisions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret Single-Line Electrical Drawings.
• Basic AutoCAD skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare engineering drawings including Single-Line Layouts, Schematics, and Controls from sketches to support project requirements.
• Translate written and verbal specifications from the Designer Department into precise technical drawings.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Department to coordinate design efforts and ensure alignment across teams.
• Prepare enclosure specifications and compile material order lists to facilitate procurement.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of drawings to meet quality standards.
• Generate material requisition orders and cross-check them against drawings for consistency.
• Complete drafting tasks within scheduled timelines to support project delivery.
• Maintain and update all revisions of project drawings to ensure document accuracy.
• Organize and file documents according to the document control system for easy retrieval.
• Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team objectives.
