Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and validate control systems for generator applications. You will work with sales and costing teams to translate requirements into proposals and robust designs.

The role involves sizing systems to ISO standards, creating bills of materials, and supporting production to ensure smooth manufacturing. You will also develop PLC controls and HMIs, test designs, and drive continuous improvement through

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in generator controls, PLC, HMI and SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Understand design requirements with sales and costing teams to provide proposals and solutions.
• Size systems and design solutions in accordance with ISO standards for generators.
• Create Bill of Materials and support production to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
• Test and validate designs, including parameter optimization for controllers.
• Design control logic per customer requirements.
• Perform PLC design from scratch for synchronization and control features; customize HMI graphics.
• Understand generator controllers, PLCs, HMIs and interfaces with other equipment.
• Initiate continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Proficient in industrial automation communication protocols.
• Produce electrical design drawings, PLC and HMI programming documentation.
• Assist procurement to engage and qualify suppliers.
