Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Design Engineer in Singapore to work at the Jurong East site. You will collaborate with sales and production teams to design electrical systems and generate BOMs, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

We expect a degree in Electrical Engineering with substantial experience or a Diploma with extensive experience. Knowledge of generator controllers, PLC, HMI, SCADA and automation protocols is essential. On-site support may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in generator controllers, PLC, HMI and SCADA.
• Proficiency in SEE. Electrical.
• Knowledge of industrial automation communication protocol.
• Experience in generator, power generation industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales and costing team to understand the design requirements and provide proposals and solutions.
• Understand the generator’s ISO standards for design considerations and to work independently to perform system sizing and provide innovative design solutions.
• Create the Bill of Material for production, support the factory during production to and ensure smooth flow during the production.
• Involvement in the testing and validation on the design, including parameter optimization for controllers.
• Ability to design controls logic accordingly to customer requirements.
• Ability to start PLC design from scratch on synchronizing and control features, and customize the HMI graphics accordingly to customer requirements.
• Good understanding of generator controller, PLC, HMI and interfaces with other equipment
• Engaged or initiate continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and improve work efficiency.
• Well verse in industrial automation communication protocol.
• Produce drawings, documentations on electrical design, PLC and HMI programming.
• Assist procurement to engage and qualify suppliers.
• Provide on-site support if required.
