Job summary

SK POWER PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical systems for construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and safety systems.

You will prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documents, perform load calculations, and collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate systems into overall project designs. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical design for construction projects and familiarity with safety standards.
• Proficiency in electrical load calculations and system analyses.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and safety systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct load calculations and electrical system analyses to ensure efficiency and codes compliance.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and material samples from contractors.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during construction and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all electrical systems are installed safely and in accordance with local codes and standards.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for project management and stakeholders.
