Job summary

PSB TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an electrical engineer to design schematic power, safety, IO, and motor circuits for PLC/PC controlled machines. You will create panel layouts and perform wiring and pneumatic layouts for full machines, plus support field operations.

Ideal candidates have experience wiring and troubleshooting automation systems, familiarity with PLCs such as Omron and Allen-Bradley, AutoCAD, and a willingness to travel overseas when needed.

Qualifications

• Wiring and troubleshooting of automation machines.
• Familiar with PLCs (Omron, Allen-Bradley) and Windows PC controlled machines.
• Familiar with AutoCAD.
• CE and NRTL conformance knowledge is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Involve in schematic design of power, safety, IO, stepper and servo motor circuits for PLC/PC controlled machines.
• Design panel and component layouts for electrical control boxes.
• Perform wiring and pneumatic layout of full machines (PLC/PC controlled).
• Handle machine setups and troubleshooting of full machine circuits including IO checks and power/safety/motor circuits.
• Create and maintain electrical design standards and best practices.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet project specs and requirements.
• Provide field support for automation machines.

Core Responsibilities

• Involve in schematic design of power, safety, IO, stepper motor and servo motor circuits for both PLC and PC controlled machines.
• Design panel and component layout of electrical control boxes.
• Perform wiring and pneumatic layout of full machines (both PLC and PC controlled machines).
• Handle machine setups and troubleshooting of full machine circuit (includes IO checks and debugging of power, safety and motor circuits).
• Creating and maintaining electrical design standards and best practices.
• Conducting design reviews and providing feedback to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
• Collaborating with other engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
• Provide field support for automation machines.

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma / ITE in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in wiring and troubleshooting of automation machines is essential.
• Familiarity with both PLC (like Omron and Allen-Bradley) and Windows XP/2000/NT PC controlled machines is essential.
• Familiarity with AutoCad is essential.
• Knowledge in CE and NRTL conformance will be added advantage.
• Must be willing to travel overseas when required.
