Job summary

EW ELITE SEARCH PTE. LTD. seeks a highly motivated Electrical Hardware Engineer to design robust electrical systems for high-precision semiconductor backend machinery.

You will develop power distribution, control loops, and wiring schemas, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration with mechanical and vision teams. Responsibilities include creating BOMs and schematics, implementing motor drivers, and diagnosing noise and grounding issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• 3–5 years of experience designing electrical systems, preferably in semiconductor equipment or high-precision automation.
• Proven expertise in industrial automation, AC/DC power applications, motors, sensor integration, and PID control loops.
• Deep understanding of communication protocols such as Ethernet and RS232/485.
• Proficiency in leading Electrical CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust electrical hardware designs, power distribution systems, and control loop architectures for automated semiconductor backend machines.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, cable and wiring harness schedules, and comprehensive BOMs using Electrical CAD tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical design, vision software, process engineering, and manufacturing teams for hardware-software integration.
• Implement and optimize low-voltage control systems, motor drivers, sensor integrations, and optics/vision hardware infrastructure.
• Conduct diagnostic testing to isolate and resolve electrical noise, grounding issues, and signal integrity flaws.
• Support existing machinery by designing upgrades and retrofitting components for client needs; manage product transfers from R&D to manufacturing.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Research & Development team. You will develop electrical hardware engineering designs for high-precision semiconductor backend machinery, creating innovative circuitry, integrating automated vision systems, and managing motion control networks for next-generation semiconductor IC assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust electrical hardware designs, power distribution systems, and control loop architectures for automated semiconductor backend machines.
• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, cable and wiring harness schedules, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) using industry-standard Electrical CAD tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical design, vision software, process engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
• Implement and optimize low-voltage control systems, stepper/servo motor drivers, sensor integrations, and advanced optics/vision hardware infrastructure.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and analysis using advanced engineering instruments to isolate and resolve electrical noise, grounding issues, and signal integrity flaws.
• Support existing machinery product lines by designing upgrades, retrofitting electrical components to meet client demands, and managing product transfers from R&D to manufacturing.

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing electrical systems, preferably in semiconductor equipment or high-precision automation.
