Job summary

JOB LIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E CAD designer to develop detailed 2D drawings for electrical and mechanical systems in construction projects. You will size trays, ducts, pipes, and lay out electrical schematics while ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.

You will coordinate with structural, architectural, and landscape teams, perform self-reviews, and keep drawings up to date. Experience in a consultancy environment is preferred, with Singapore codes guiding submissions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background to support technical drawing and design tasks.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit skills are optional but advantageous.
• Familiarity with local building codes to ensure compliance in design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D detailed design drawings following relevant drawing standards for M&E projects.
• Size cable trays, cables, lighting, and prepare electrical schematic drawings to support design accuracy.
• Size chilled water pipes, ducting, MV fans, and prepare sprinkler, plumbing, and sanitary layout drawings and schematics for mechanical systems.
• Coordinate M&E services drawings with structural, architectural, landscape, and interior design teams to ensure integrated project documentation.
• Prepare drawings independently and conduct thorough self-review before submission to maintain quality and compliance.
• Update and maintain current drawings and documentation to reflect project progress and revisions.
