Job summary

TRU Technologies (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an entry-level Electrical/Automation Engineer to design and develop products, including PLC programming and software platforms (C#, .NET, Python), and to expand SCADA capabilities.

You will perform hands-on wiring, soldering, assembly, and panel wiring, provide technical support and product demonstrations, and help maintain strong customer relationships. Immediate or short-notice start is welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, or willingness to learn and grow in the role
• Experience in PLC programming and industrial control systems
• Knowledge of modern software development (e.g., C#, .NET, Python, web-based applications)
• Hands-on experience in wiring, soldering, assembly, and troubleshooting; familiarity with SCADA systems is a plus
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
• Mature, hard-working, and able to stay enthusiastic and focused
• Good communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Design and development of new/existing products including PLC programming and SCADA expansion.
• Test, evaluate, and improve performance and reliability of systems.
• Hands-on wiring, soldering, assembly, and panel wiring; troubleshoot.
• Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers.
• Support sales through account management and new business development.
