Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in electrical engineering, application engineering or technical support in industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with motors, generators, VFDs and power electronics or control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Experience preparing technical proposals or calculations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application engineering support for industrial electrical equipment and automation systems.
• Review customer specifications and project docs to propose suitable engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, equipment selections and calculations for inquiries and tenders.
• Collaborate with sales to develop customised technical solutions and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants and internal teams to clarify requirements.
• Support project execution including coordination, installation, testing and commissioning as needed.
• Present product capabilities and application benefits through technical demos.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose improvements for performance and reliability.
• Liaise with regional offices, suppliers and technical specialists on specs.
