Job summary

THE LENTOR RESIDENCE PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking caring individuals to support elderly residents in a community care setting. You will prepare meals, assist with feeding, monitor health and safety, and help with daily activities.

Training provided. Day shift, 44 hours per week. Strong teamwork and compassion required; prior eldercare experience is a bonus. Applicants should be Singaporean or PR and enjoy helping elderly people.

Qualifications

Singaporean / PR status required.
Primary education with basic English.
Prior eldercare experience is an advantage.
Physically fit – able to push wheelchair and assist transfers.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Patient, compassionate and respectful.
Enjoys helping elderly people.

Responsibilities

Prepare food, serve meals, and assist clients with oral feeding.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the pantry area and related equipment.
Conduct morning orientation to clients.
Assist in outing activities and community engagements.
Plan, conduct and facilitate daily activities and basic exercise sessions with clients.
Coordinate with volunteers to conduct activities effectively.
Monitor and record vital signs accurately.
Observe clients' conditions and document observations in a timely and proper manner.
Maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment for all clients.
