Job summary

ST LUKE'S ELDERCARE LTD. is seeking a compassionate Community Care Associate to support elderly residents in daily living activities and health monitoring. You will assist with personal care, basic hygiene, and mobility, while coordinating simple activities and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

You will document participation in engagement activities and collaborate with the care team, bringing patience, reliability, and respectful communication to the role. Singaporean and PR status preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec qualifications.
• Possesses willingness and patience in serving the elders.
• Prior caregiving experience in hospitals, nursing homes, or with family is advantageous.
• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Capable of working independently and under time constraints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly in basic activities of daily living (BADL), including personal hygiene and transfers.
• Identify care needs of seniors and monitor well-being.
• Monitor health status and escalate to Supervisor or Manager when required.
• Assist in serving and applying prescribed medications as instructed.
• Plan and conduct activities suitable for seniors based on preferences.
• Observe seniors' engagement and provide feedback on progress.
• Ensure safety and hygiene of the centre environment.
