Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED in Singapore is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer focused on Elastic Stack design, deployment and log analytics. You will work on ingestion pipelines, Logstash and Kafka, and support production platforms in cybersecurity contexts.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in Elastic Stack, strong Linux administration skills, and scripting prowess in Python or Bash. This role demands autonomous, detail-oriented problem solving and collaboration with DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• Total professional experience ≥ 4 years, with at least 3 years focused on large-scale Elastic-Stack design, deployment and support.
• Production-grade experience with the Elastic stack - ingestion, indexing, monitoring and analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Scripting/programming - Python or Bash (minimum 2 years).
• Automation/orchestration - Ansible (or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven production-support background; comfortable with both virtual and physical environments.

Responsibilities

• Needs to handle platform built in Elastic Stack - must have exposure in Logstash and Kafka.
• Will be managing a platform ingest in cybersecurity that collects logs
• Must know scripting and automation; knowledgeable in Python and Bash scripting
• Must be comfortable in Linux-based platforms
• Will handle many in-house automation built-in with DevOps knowledge would be good
