ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an Elastic Stack Engineer in Singapore.

The role is 12 months (extendable), start ASAP, with 4+ years of hands‑on experience and strong background in Elastic Stack, Kafka, Linux administration, scripting, and automation. You will manage large-scale production platforms, ensure reliability, performance, and scalability, and contribute to automation and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have extensive hands‑on experience with Elastic Stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and production-grade deployments.
• Strong experience in Kafka, Linux administration, scripting, and automation is required.
• 7+ years of professional experience with 4–5+ years in Elastic Stack platform design, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support production-grade Elastic Stack environments (ingestion, indexing, monitoring, analytics).
• Design and implement automation to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Provide hands-on Linux administration across RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Manage Kafka environments and integrations.
• Develop scripts in Python and/or Bash; build automation with Ansible or similar tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; perform production troubleshooting and RCA.

Job Title: Elastic Stack Engineer
Location: Singapore
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Elastic Stack / DevOps Engineer to manage, maintain, automate, and support a large-scale production platform environment. This is a highly hands‑on technical role requiring strong experience in the Elastic Stack, Kafka, Linux administration, scripting, and automation . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, scalability, and operational stability of the platform.

This role is not suitable for SOC Analysts or monitoring‑focused professionals , as the primary focus is on platform engineering, automation, coding, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support production‑grade Elastic Stack environments, including ingestion, indexing, monitoring, analytics, and platform maintenance.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to improve platform reliability, operational efficiency, and scalability.
• Provide hands‑on administration and troubleshooting support across Linux environments, including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Manage and support Kafka environments and associated integrations.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation solutions using Python and/or Bash.
• Build and maintain automation and orchestration workflows using Ansible or equivalent tools.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Perform production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across complex infrastructure environments.
• Work across both virtual and physical infrastructure environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, platform stability, monitoring capabilities, and operational processes.
• Take ownership of technical issues and work independently to manage priorities and deliver solutions.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 7 years of total professional experience . At least 4-5 years of hands‑on experience managing, designing, deploying, and supporting large-scale Elastic Stack environments. Strong experience working in production environments with responsibility for platform stability and operational support. Candidates should be comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of technical deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the banking or financial services sector would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Exposure to complex, highly available, and business‑critical platforms.
