Job summary

VISIONPOWER SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking an EHS professional to identify and mitigate health, safety and environmental risks in a fast-paced semiconductor fab.

You will assess hazards, lead compliance programs and coach teams across locations to uphold regulatory standards and continuous improvement. Travel to Taiwan may be required for training and certification updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform hazard and risk assessments for job and environment.
• Conduct tests and prepare inspection reports on environment and safety.
• Lead EHS compliance across fab processes and equipment.
• Manage waste, air, water, chemicals, and gas programs.
• Lead ERC activities including emergency response and fire safety.
• Collaborate on ISO certifications (ISO 14001, 45001, 14064, 50001).

Job description

Role Summary

You are responsible for identifying, assessing and advising on risks arising from the workplace health, environmental and/or work processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the risks and implementing the measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct job and environment hazard and risk assessments, perform workplace evaluations, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Apply relevant licenses, conduct tests and provide necessary inspection reports on environment and safety to drive improvement
• Lead and continually review existing and new Fab processes and equipment for EHS compliance, including managing waste, air, water, chemicals, gas and others
• Manage semiconductor process safety, establish Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) culture, implement and enhance the EHS program for employees and contractors
• Perform regular and ad-hoc inspections. audits and supervise hazardous operations safely
• Lead and facilitate ERC (Emergency Response Committee) related activities such as factory emergency response, fire, gas leak and others
• Collaborate with relevant departments for ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO14064, and ISO50001 management systems certification and compliance
• Provide technical, regulatory and process guidance to address emerging EHS issues

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science background including Occupational Safety, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, environmental science and emergency response or management
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or other chemically intensive manufacturing industries and regulatory compliance preferred.
• Possess industrial safety, environmental protection, and fire protection related certificates
• Opportunity to travel to Taiwan for training (Subject to needs and expectations)
• Register MOM Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) / Certified SCDF Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM), Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) / Certified Greenhouse Gas Manager (GHG Manager)
