Job summary

BD is offering an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) internship at the Tuas Plant in Singapore. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to multiple forms of manufacturing and learn to apply safety regulations in real-world operations.

The role emphasizes data analysis, root-cause investigations, and the development of safety programs. You will work on-site, collaborating with teams to promote an environmentally healthy and safe culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in EH&S or related fields listed in the posting.
• Relevant coursework or focus areas in EH&S, safety, and manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the write-up and review of safety documents.
• Prepare safety presentations for the training of all associates.
• Run root cause/corrective action exercises that eliminate safety hazards.
• Further develop existing safety programs such as Confined Space, Hazardous Material, Fall Protection, Lock out/Tag out.

Interns will gain experience in the field of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), while being exposed to multiple forms of manufacturing of Becton Dickinson Tuas Plant Singapore. Learn how to apply Environmental and Safety regulations in a real-world manufacturing environment. Interns will have the opportunity to experience day to day operations, working independently and in teams, to promote an Environmentally Healthy and Safe culture.

• Assist in the write-up and review of safety documents

• Prepare safety presentations for the training of all associates

• Run root cause/corrective action exercises that eliminate safety hazards

Work Arrangements:

5 days (Mon-Fri) onsite at Tuas Avenue 2

Working Hours: 7.45am- 4.45pm
